Price Quotes

I will submit a price quote for your approval along with an editing sample before starting any work. I will fit my editing, proofreading, or rewriting to fit your budget.

Rates

Proofreading: $2.00 - $3.00/page ($.008 - $.012/word)

Light editing: $3.00 - $6.00/page ($.012 - .024/word)

Heavy editing: $6.00 - 10.00/page ($.024 - .040/word)

Editing and Rewriting/Revising: $10.00 - 15.00/page ($.040 - .060/word)

A standard page in professional editing and proofreading is 250 words (a typewritten, double-spaced page using a standard font such as New Times Roman, 12 point). In MS Word 2003, the (total) word count is found using the Tools menu>Word count. In MS Word 2007 and 2010, the (total) word count appears on the bottom left side of the page/window of the open document.

Payments

In accordance with professional editing practices, I request prepayment. However, I will accept partial payments for lengthy documents or manuscripts (pay as you go). My preferred method of payment is by check or money order. I also accept PayPal payments, which allow debit and credit card transactions.

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with my services, you need only let me know what the problem is, and I will fix it. The editing, proofreading, or rewriting process is only done when you say it is.
