Developmental Editing
This edit takes place in the development stages of a novel and focuses on the book's big picture. Recommended if you want guidance writing your story or when you have a finished draft and want to know if it “works.” This edit focuses on the chapter level.

This edit will include an editorial report and style guide upon completion.

Proofreading
This edit is recommended for a novel that is already type set and needs to be looked over once more before publication. It is also recommended that the editor who conducted copy/line edits not work on the proofreading to ensure fresh eyes on the manuscript.

Line/Copy Editing
This edit combines both line and copy editing into one service for convenience. This is recommended for an author who has already undergone developmental revisions. This edit will focus on paragraph and sentence levels to ensure the prose is polished.

Substantive Editing
This edit is an all-in-one deal for convenience for the author. I will conduct developmental and copy/line editing of the manuscript simultaneously.

First Chapter Critique
This edit is recommended for authors early in the writing process to help the first chapter draw in the reader and make them want to continue reading your novel. This is similar to a developmental edit but is a flat fee for up 4,000 words.
